Hexsteel refractory linings are both flexible mesh gratings that are easily rolled and conform to circular shapes. It is used in reinforcing linings, floors, and any cement structures needing added support. The structural strength of the anchor section helps its range of applications. Some applications include ductwork, heaters, reactors, and furnaces.

Hexsteel: Bonding Hole Type

Instead of lance tabs, holes are punched through the walls of the hexmetal cell. Refractory can then flow through these holes to achieve a bond from one cell to another.

Hex-metal: Pronges/Lances Type

this style has lance tabs protruding from the walls of the hexagonal cell to act as anchorage for the refractory.

Application of HESLY Hex mesh grid:

As refractories, hex steel mesh has Flexibility, high strength and erosion resistant characteristics. Hex steel mesh is an excellent choice of refractory linings in furnaces, reactors, cyclones, ducts and flues.
